Walks

Enjoying the outdoors ourselves, we know many visitors to the area throughout the year are taking in parts ( or all!) of the amazing South West Coastal Path. We are listed on South West Coastal Path and are happy to arrange for your bags to be taken on to your next accommodation, or pick up/drop you off at either of the Torquay stations if this is your start or end point.

THINGS TO DO AND SEE

The English Riviera has more attractions than any other seaside resort in the UK! For families looking for things to do, Torquay is a hive of activity throughout the year. There are loads of beaches to choose from, Kents Cavern to explore and the brilliant Living Coasts coastal zoo to visit, where you can walk with penguins. There are also plenty of sightseeing excursions, and boat and fishing trips out into the bay. You’ll also find that it’s the HQ for a host of maritime events and regattas – but don’t worry if you don’t own a boat; there’s plenty of spectator points around the coast and each event brings its own festivals and celebrations.

Thatched cottages line the village green, while at Cockington Court Craft Centre you can watch some of the country’s finest craftsmen and women at work and then pick up a gorgeous gift to remember your visit by. This elegant stately home is surrounded by a stunning country park, while the village is warm and welcoming with some delicious, fresh-cooked meals available at the local pub!
