We were shown to our room and it was such a lovely room. Really spacious, comfortable and the bathroom was massive. There is a good selection of tea, coffee and water in the room. Also an electric tea pot which I loved. The bedrooms are really modern, decorated and furnished to perfection.
We then woke up and went down for breakfast. We ordered the hot breakfast the night before and then there was cold options available on the side boards. Such an amazing selection tea, coffee, fruit, yogurts and cereals. The owners of the hotel are so friendly and go out of their way to chat and make you feel really at home. The hotel it’s self is located in a really nice area. The owners are also so helpful, they recommended restaurants and places to visit.
We love going on holiday abroad but the harmony hotel made us realise that England has amazing gems hidden away too.
Thank you for having us and we will definitely be back.

  We booked the Harmony B&B for our week long 'Staycation', after reading the multitude of excellent 5-Star reviews from previous visitors. We can only echo the many positive comments that... read more have been left before. From the friendly and helpful welcome from the perfect hosts Michelle & James (who, we were happy to learn, stem from our home county. See.... there are GOOD things that come from Essex!!). Everything about our stay was spot-on. From the guaranteed parking space (there are 11 parking bays covering 8 rooms). The clean and tidy room. Super breakfasts. The 'Honesty Bar' (great for getting a cold drink after a long walk). They even managed to arrange a 'heatwave' for the whole week for us 😉 (although, sadly, they cannot guarantee that on every stay!!). However, if the weather is not warm, the welcome certainly is!! The B&B itself is about a 20 minute walk (mostly flat) to Torquay Harbour. It is also within walking distance (probably about 25-30 minutes through the back-lanes) of Cockington Village (if you want to 'step back in time' to this quant Thatched Cottage village and enjoy a wonderful Cream Tea..... or two!). Turn right out of the Harmony and Torre Railway Station is a few minutes walk away. From here you can catch trains to various local places of interest (Paignton, Plymouth, Dawlish, Exeter etc). Would certainly recommend The Harmony as a great place to stay. Robert & Carol -...   Me and my mum come down to the harmony in the middle of July this year. Had a Lovley little break. Was warmly welcomed by Michelle and was always there... read more on hand through out the stay. Towns only a ten minute walk or £6 in a taxi . Will be coming back here next spring or summer.
