Right from the initial conversation with Michelle, I knew we were going to a special location. The position of this B&B in Torquay, is brilliant for easy access to get in and out of the town and beach, all of which are also in a walkable distance if you so desire and the best part is, it’s mostly on gentle gradients, not always something you will find in the English Riviera …..! The presentation of the property is simply stunning. The attention to detail for every aspects of one’s stay is catered for. The bedrooms are spotless, warm and an absolute pleasure to be in. They have everything you need including a mini fridge.and the lovely touch of an Alexa, who I enjoyed talking to so much my wife now thinks I now having an affair! The dining area and locally sourced ingredients for the cooked breakfast is a must. The snug room with a very well priced courtesy bar, along with books and a chess set is another superb touch. However to complete the whole package you have very special hosts, Michelle and James. Attentive, understanding, helpful and great company. They fully appreciate and respect their visitors. More than that, whether it’s one night or longer each day of staying at Harmony you are made to feel special. They talk to you and make you feel like a friend and not just a number on a tourist requisition sheet.

My wife and I have run a holiday let business in the past so we know about the good and bad aspects and what works and what does not……..and yes over the years we have experienced and stayed in some horror shows but this ‘little gem is Torquays Holllywood.’

Would we recommend Harmony B&B……….?

  We arrived early and intended to ask if we could leave the car and walk into Torquay. Michelle let us complete the check-in as our room was ready. It was… read more only 11am. The room was bright, airy and very clean. The breakfast was excellent, ordered the day before for the cooked food. I like this option. There is no food wasted.
Michelle and Jamie were great hosts, Michelle was waitress to Jamie’s cooking. Both found time to chat to the quests.
There is a lounge area for guests and an honesty bar.
We really enjoyed our stay and would not hesitate to book again if we were in the area. More

The rooms were serviced fully including toiletries. Tea, coffee and biscuits and bottled water with extras of sweets, lollies and delicious fudge.
Attention to detail was brilliant. Would definitely stay again.

Family run so friendly helpful and can’t do enough to help, know the areas to… read more give great suggestions for days and trips out. Totally recommend for all families, singles and group stays. Rooms are decorated to a high standard and have all facilities fridge, tv, tea and coffee with great choice, but ask for anything extra and it’s never a problem. Soo looking forward to our next stay
