Breakfast was superb with plenty of choice and was always served piping hot. There was a lovely residents lounge with an honesty bar and a good selection of books and leaflets. Michelle was very helpful with recommendations for places to visit and places to eat. I would give Michelle and James 10 out of 10 and will definitely recommend to family and friends.

Our room was excellent with everything you could possibly wish for, equal to anywhere we have stayed previously and we have been fortunate enough to have stayed in some great places. Plenty of choice for breakfast with everything freshly cooked. Plenty of parking in the private car park for everyone which is an added bonus. Only a 20/30 minute level stroll into the heart of Torquay. Great location to explore this part of Devon. Don’t be suspicious of the overall five star rating, this really is a gem. The ‘honesty bar’ is an excellent idea - nice cold drinks whenever you fancy.
Our room was spotless with a really comfy bed and lots of nice touches like sweet jar, biscuits and tea/coffee.
The whole breakfast experience was superb. Met and served by Michelle who must be a morning person to be so welcoming! The freshly cooked breakfast (by Jamie) was perfect, so nice to have real scrambled eggs.
