The room and bathroom were spotless with a good selection of tea/coffee etc. Despite the busy road, our room was quiet.

Breakfast was excellant and made even more enjoyable by Michelle's friendly chatter and advice. After a few days, she was more a friend than a host.

All of the decoration was in good order and very clean.

A very good (No 12) bus service is available about 5-7 minutes walk away. The frequent service goes direct to Torquay, Newton Abbot, Paignton (for Dartmouth Railway) and Brixham.

Walking to Torquay seafront takes about 20 minutes slightly downhill.

Overall, we would throughally recommend Harmony Bed & Breakfast and the hosts .

  From the moment we arrived we were greeted with a friendly welcome.
Everything is thought of at the Harmony with the nicest of owners Michelle and Jamie covering all bases... read more and should you have any questions or need any help/advice they’re at hand.
It’s not often I go into a B&B and feel
I should remove my shoes before walking around the clean and nicely hoovered (with lines 😊) carpet.
We felt the small touches in the room like the small Amazon speaker and bottled water (which was replenished the following day) was an additional lovely touch.
They have what is called an honesty bar which again is a fantastic idea, you help yourself to wine, Prosecco, beer and spirits, note it down in the book and pay at the end of your stay….perfect👍🏼
The location is great….although due to the weather we taxi’d into Torquay (about £7) it is definitely walkable on sunnier days/evenings.
Lastly but by no means least the breakfast…really really really nice, perfectly cooked and superb quality.
Would we stay again….it will be our go to place to stay in Devon….we’re even trying to make up a reason to visit 😊
