Our room (room 6) was... read more lovely - really spacious, clean and the monsoon shower was so nice. We enjoyed the sweet jar and the selection of hot refreshments in the room also. The information folder that is in the room is great also for things to do and places to eat. The breakfast was great, really yummy and fresh. I had cooked breakfast on morning 1 of our stay and it was lovely and cooked just how I had asked and on the other days I chose from a good selection of cereals, toast and jams or fresh fruit cups, my partner had it every morning (he said he was on holiday so he was going to make the most of it lol) but he thoroughly enjoyed it. Such great hosts!! The honesty bar was a lovely touch when we got back from a day of exploring to get a nice cold drink and take to our room whilst we got ready for the evening.

I would really recommend the Harmony. More

We can only echo the many positive comments that... read more have been left before. From the friendly and helpful welcome from the perfect hosts Michelle & James (who, we were happy to learn, stem from our home county. See.... there are GOOD things that come from Essex!!). Everything about our stay was spot-on. From the guaranteed parking space (there are 11 parking bays covering 8 rooms). The clean and tidy room. Super breakfasts. The 'Honesty Bar' (great for getting a cold drink after a long walk). They even managed to arrange a 'heatwave' for the whole week for us 😉 (although, sadly, they cannot guarantee that on every stay!!). However, if the weather is not warm, the welcome certainly is!! The B&B itself is about a 20 minute walk (mostly flat) to Torquay Harbour. It is also within walking distance (probably about 25-30 minutes through the back-lanes) of Cockington Village (if you want to 'step back in time' to this quant Thatched Cottage village and enjoy a wonderful Cream Tea..... or two!). Turn right out of the Harmony and Torre Railway Station is a few minutes walk away. From here you can catch trains to various local places of interest (Paignton, Plymouth, Dawlish, Exeter etc). Would certainly recommend The Harmony as a great place to stay. Robert & Carol -...   What an amazing find this B&B was, from our arrival to our departure nothing was too much trouble for Michelle a brilliant hostess and if she doesn’t know the answer... read more about best restaurants or beaches she’ll find out. The rooms were clean and had everything you would need from a good hairdryer to cotton buds and even a few sweets. Her other half Jamie was far too busy in the kitchen delivering a fabulous breakfast every morning but did manage to come say hello a few times, great couple. There’s an honesty bar where there are a few shorts and beers and you write it in the book and settle up at the end of your stay and the water was complimentary!! All in all we had a lovely stay would definitely recommend and would return. Thanks to you both xx More
